The terms for booking a retreat or event with me, and for using this website. Last updated 14 October 2026.
These terms apply to retreats and events led by Mercedes Sieff and booked through this website. Each retreat page sets out its price, what is included, the deposit and when the balance is due. Where a retreat page says something different from these terms, the retreat page applies.
A 50% deposit reserves your place, which is confirmed once your deposit has been received. The balance is due on the date shown on the retreat page. Where a sharing discount is offered, each guest books their own place and the discount is applied to the balance.
After booking you will receive a short registration form. Please complete it before you arrive.
Because my retreats are small and intimate, deposits are non-refundable. They can be moved to a future retreat within 12 months, or transferred to another person at no cost.
Payments are non-refundable but can become credit towards another retreat, less a £250 admin fee, to be used within 12 months. Please let me know in writing at admin@yeotown.com.
If I have to cancel a retreat, I will offer you a place on another date or a full refund of everything you have paid me. I am not responsible for flights or other travel costs, which is one reason travel insurance is required. Occasionally details of a programme may change for reasons such as weather or safety; I will always aim to offer something of equal value.
Travel insurance is required for every retreat. It should cover cancellation, medical care and the activities you plan to take part in.
Please tell me about any injuries, health conditions or pregnancy on your registration form, and check with your doctor before booking if you are unsure whether a retreat is right for you. All activities are optional. Please practise within your own limits and let me or the team know if anything feels wrong.
Flights are not included unless a retreat page says otherwise. Airport transfers and additional treatments are charged separately, as described on each retreat page.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, I am not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for travel and other arrangements you make yourself.
The words and photographs on this site belong to Mercedes Sieff or Yeotown and may not be copied without permission. I keep the information here as accurate as I can, but details can change; your booking confirmation sets out what you have booked.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
